09 OCT: NEW SERIES OF WATERSPORTS DAY LAUNCHED

Yesterday's dinghy sailing and watersports event at El Portet, the first in the new Autumn series, was a great success!  The sunny conditions and onshore breeze made for enjoyable but still challenging sailing, drawing a strong turnout from new and long-standing club members alike. 

Two 420s and three Lasers were rigged and took to the water.  The 420 crews showed good teamwork in the choppy water, while the Laser sailors demonstrated strong control and quick decision-making in the gusts! 

Afterwards, sailors and supporters gathered back at Raco Bar on the El Portet terrace for a social meet to relax and share experiences.  All ran smoothly, a great first event giving a positive start to our new series of Watersports Day.
