Please join with us in celebrating the birthday of Betty Pilkington.

Betty and Maurice Pilkington were members of the CBYA for many years. Betty will reach the remarkable age of 100 years old on Monday the 28th September. The CBYA are sending this card to let her know that we still think of her.

N.B. Betty's husband Maurice was a keen sailor and achieved transatlantic status. The sextant that he used on his voyages was later mounted on a wooden plinth and awarded to any member of the club who achieved an outstanding achievement as recognition. In the card to Betty, we have listed all of the members who have been awarded this trophy over the years.
