Thank you to everyone who joined us for our AGM at Club Náutico Calpe, with a great turnout both in person and via Zoom. It was fantastic to see so many members supporting the club.
A very special thank you goes to all our committee members who give their time on a voluntary basis to keep CBYA running. In particular, we would like to recognise John Mackney for his dedication as Commodore over the past several years. John has given an enormous amount of his time and energy to CBYA and has made a significant impact across many areas of the club. His hard work and commitment are very much appreciated.
We are also delighted to welcome Peter Hodgkinson as our new Chairman and wish him every success in his new role.
CBYA only works because of the members who volunteer their time to help organise sailing, racing and social activities, so a big thank you to everyone who helps make the club what it is.
After the meeting, several members enjoyed lunch together locally, giving everyone a nice chance to relax, chat and catch up.
Heres to another great year of sailing, friendship and fun on the water!
