TOMS

The Costa Blanca Yacht Association (CBYA) offers members the opportunity to sail TOMs keelboats, which are 8.5-meter vessels known for their performance and suitability for both training and racing. These boats are based at the Real Club Náutico de Calpe, providing an excellent platform for sailors to enhance their skills in a dynamic environment.

CBYA organises regular TOMs sailing sessions, typically held on Thursdays and Saturdays. These sessions cater to a range of skill levels, from beginners seeking hands-on experience to seasoned sailors aiming to refine their techniques. Each outing emphasises practical learning, teamwork, and the nuances of keelboat handling.

In addition to training sessions, the TOMs fleet is central to CBYA's racing calendar. The association hosts a series of regattas and competitive events throughout the year, allowing members to test their skills in a structured and spirited environment. 

The TOMs program also serves as a platform for members to pursue formal sailing qualifications. CBYA collaborates with certified instructors to offer courses and assessments, enabling sailors to achieve recognised certifications.
