About The CBYA

The Costa Blanca Yacht Association (CBYA) is a vibrant sailing club with some 300 energetic members, located along Spain's picturesque Costa Blanca. Founded to unite sailing enthusiasts of all experience levels, the CBYA offers a welcoming community for those passionate about life on the water!

The CBYA organises a diverse range of activities, including yacht cruising, racing, watersports & dinghy sailing, and social events, catering to both seasoned sailors and newcomers. Members benefit from access to a fleet of dinghies & equipment, regular sailing sessions, and opportunities to participate in regattas and flotilla cruises.

Many of our boat owner members have their yachts and motor boats moored in marinas along the Costa Blanca, whilst other members have chosen France, Greece, and the UK to berth their vessels. We have experienced crew looking for skippers, and skippers looking for enthusiastic crew!

Beyond sailing, the CBYA fosters a strong social network through events such as monthly dinners, guest speaker evenings, and charity fundraisers. The association is committed to promoting safe and enjoyable sailing while encouraging camaraderie among its members.

Whether you're an experienced sailor or new to the sport, the CBYA provides the resources, support, and community to enhance your sailing journey on the Costa Blanca. We always welcome new boat owner members and other sailors!
