15 APR: PROGRESS UPDATE: FLEET RELOCATION UNDERWAY.

Following instructions from the Valencia Beach Authority, the Ayuntamiento of Teulada has issued notices requiring that all boats and equipment be removed from the beach area by 4th May 2026 to allow for a full clean-up.

Any items remaining after this date may be removed and potentially destroyed.

After working closely with the Town Hall, CBYA is taking action to fully comply. Several boats have already been safely relocated, thanks to members who have kindly stepped in to store them at their homes — a fantastic show of community spirit!

Over the coming weeks, we'll continue this effort by removing the remaining club boats and equipment in a phased and organized way. We'll also do our best to keep Dinghy Day running where possible during this transition.

We're hopeful that once the clean-up is complete, we'll be able to return our boats to the beach and resume normal activities.
