09 NOV: 5-CLUBS REGATTA MORAIRA

The 2nd leg of the Moraira 5-Clubs regatta was held on Sunday 9th November. 3 CBYA boats competed: Matador II (Barry McCrae), Sapphire (John Mackney) and Racer X (Allen Bradley). The wind was very light with only about 6 knots forecast. This suited the lighter boats. Sapphire weighs in at over 10 tonnes whereas Matador comes in at just 3600 Kgs.

Matadore finished 5th in class B, however both Sapphire and Racer X ran out of time and recorded a DNF

The next 5-Clubs even in at Marine de Greenwich, Campomanis on the 22nd November
