22 SEP: LUNCH OCEANA BAR AND RESTAURANT

The CBYA social occasion in September was at the Oceana Bar and Restaurant in Les Bassetes. 22 people, all members, gathered for a sumptuous lunch on the terrace overlooking the sea. This time also, most of the CBYA members were new joiners, dining at a CBYA social for the first time. There were some old faces with whom it was nice to catch up, and the social team were all in attendance too. Thank you to Julie, Caroline and Tessa for all the work they put in to make this event a success.

A note about payment; Because the menu at Oceana is quite comprehensive, we charged everybody a 25€ deposit, and the restaurant then gave out numbers to each at the table. This meant that everybody got a separate bill for their supplement: drinks, coffees etc. and there was no need for complicated "Gastronomics" at the end. Parking was ample, with even some spaces left for late comers, and contrary to reports, the parking is still free at Les Bassetes.
