CBYA Cruise in Company Day 1

Yesterday, three CBYA member boats set sail from Denia and Calpe on the crossing to San Antonio, Ibiza:

Sapphire with John, Micky & Peter 
Midnight Wanderer with Martin & Caroline
Bifrost with Per & Anna

Midnight Wanderer was first off the mark at 6am, rewarded with a spectacular sunrise and a peaceful start, weaving past a few fishing boats and a tanker. Sapphire followed around 7ish, and after sorting out a few battery gremlins, Birfrost was not far behind.

With favourable winds most of the way, all three boats enjoyed great sailing, averaging 6 - 8 knots under sail. Sapphire managed to spot a pod of Dolphins upon approaching Ibiza. By the afternoon, all had safely moored up in sunny Ibiza within just an hour of each other!
