TOMs Regata Legendarios
HOW MUCH: 20€ + 5€/person CDW
RCNC are inviting the CBYA to participate in this special regata. For the crew to be eligible, the total sum of the crew's age must be at least 160 for four people and 200 for five people. There will be a number of races around a set course.
INSTRUCTIONS IF YOU WANT TO SAIL
By applying to sail on the TOMs you accept that your information can be passed on to RCNC.
The TOMs Organiser allocates crew and informs sailing applicants about whether they can sail on the day. If you apply to sail and the organiser is not able to allocate you a place, you will be informed by email or WhatsApp. Please note that your request to sail is a commitment to sail and pay. If you fail to turn up on the day, it may prevent others from sailing, and you will still be expected to pay. The final decision as to whether or not to sail remains with the appointed CBYA skipper(s) after a review of the prevailing weather conditions and an assessment of the assembled crew's experience.
The application process to sail is via a TOMs Sailing ticket. This notifies the organiser that you would like to sail. Only after being selected to sail by the organiser and sailed on the day you will have to pay the TOMs Collision Damage Waiver of 5,00€. The CDW is mandatory for all sailors, this is held in lieu of the cost of damage to the boats. The fee for sailing is paid directly to RCNC, so please try to bring the correct money with you on the day.
SAFETY

INSURANCE
RCNC requires all sailors to have a Federation Vela Comunitat Valencia (FVCV) License. For details about insurance, please see our FAQs page HERE
The TOMs organiser needs to submit your insurance information (Licencia Federative) to RCNC in advance. Please provide this when you select your TOMs Sailing RSVP request to sail.
Please arrive at the Club Nautico Calpe in good time, especially if you have to buy a license.
IMPORTANT: PLEASE LEAVE SAILS, SHEETS, WINCH HANDLE, SPINNAKER POLE AND VELCRO OUTSIDE SAILING SCHOOL AFTER SAILING.
