This event will be a sailing instructional presentation. The theme is Spinnaker Handling:
- What a spinnaker is and how it works
- Parts of the rigging named
- How to hoist
- How to steer downwind
- How to gybe (tack downwind)
- How to trim in light, medium and heavy air
- How to drop the "kite"
- How to repack
The presentation will be in the form of a PowerPoint slide show, with videos and discussion.
You are welcome to attend this event, even if you do not intend to use this information and are just curios. The presentation will be followed by a tapas meal
