This event will be a sailing instructional presentation. The theme is Spinnaker Handling and Trimming:
- What a spinnaker is and how it works
- Parts of the rigging named
- How to hoist
- How to gybe (tack downwind)
- How to trim: light, medium and heavy air
- How to drop the "kite"
- How to repack
The presentation will be in the form of a PowerPoint slide show, with videos and discussion.
You are welcome to attend this event, even if you do not intend to use this information and are just curios.
